Jenny Doughty BSc Dip PT: Director/Sports Massage Therapist

JennyHaving been involved with the Health and Fitness industry for the last ten years, my understanding and knowledge of how the body functions and its incredible ability to adapt to its environment in both a positive and negative manner, have spiralled into a passion.

The knowledge I gained in my Sports Science and Biology degree kept my desire for learning alive, leading to my qualification as a Sports Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer and Nutritional Adviser.

During my time as Petersfield Rugby Club's Sports Massage Therapist, I began running my own clinic. I was responsible for the treatment and management of players' injuries, rehabilitation, prehabilitation, nutrition and pitch-side first aid. My emphasis was looking at the whole player or client, ensuring they returned fully fit from their injury, and in many cases stronger and fitter than they were before.

As a Nutritional Adviser, I work with clients to improve their general nutrition, including weight loss or gain through a thorough understanding of the food they eat, the way their bodies react and their eating patterns. I have worked with a wide range of clients from beginners to athletes, and my aim is to find the source of the client's problem, whether it is an injury, postural issue, muscle imbalance or weakness, a flexibility or mobility issue, or even related to another area of the body. So let me help you to get the best out of your life and your own body.

Give me a call; don't accept pain as the norm - act now!

Stephanie Gniotek BSc (Hons) MSST: Sports Therapist

StephI realised my interest in sports injuries at a young age through my career as a regional gymnast.

My experiences made me appreciate the importance of the most appropriate treatment and rehabilitation, in order to speed up recovery and prevent the re-occurrence of injuries. This is what inspired me to become a Sports Therapist so that I would be able discover the underlying causes of the pain, allowing me to carry out the most appropriate treatment so that my client could return to full fitness as soon as possible.

I gained my qualifications at the University of Hertfordshire, where I enjoyed working in the sports injury clinic, treating a range of patients. I am also currently working with a football team providing pitch-side first aid, treatment, massage and rehabilitation. My time is mainly spent working closely with the first team but I have also recently been applying my skills to the under-18 squad as well. My qualification enabled me to become a fully credited member of the Society of Sport Therapists.

I aim to work with your best interests in mind, returning you to full functional fitness in the quickest time possible.

Ian Wrightson BSc (Hons) MSST: Sports Therapist

IanI am a keen sportsman, having played county and divisional rugby union, as well as competing in rugby league, cricket, tennis, hockey and athletics in county-standard events. It was my love of sport, combined with an interest in injuries and the science behind them, that fuelled my desire to study Sports Therapy.

I studied at London Metropolitan University and I am a fully accredited member of the Society of Sports Therapists. I am currently working with London Scottish Rugby Club (National 3 South), providing assessment and treatment to professional and amateur players with a wide range of injuries, as well as pitch-side first aid cover. I also produce and co-ordinate structured rehabilitation programmes in my role as the club's Rehabilitation Supervisor.

My own experience of injuries during my sports career allows me to relate directly to you as a patient, understanding first-hand the requirement for patient-specific as well as sports-specific treatment. I aim to diagnose and treat the underlying cause of problems, not just the painful symptoms, therefore returning you back to the same level of pre-injury functional activity, exercise or sports participation as quickly and safely as possible, no matter what level you participate at.

Kipp Clark MICHT: Holistic Therapist & Specialist in the Treatment of Pain

KippMy move into holistic therapies and advanced bodywork began in 2003, while travelling in South-East Asia. I am particularly interested in treating pain and injuries, and so have developed my skills in this area. I have been able to help many patients recover from chronic pain, many who had previously tried a range of therapies, which offered them only limited relief. My thirst for knowledge, however, is far from sated, and I hope to study many other therapies and techniques in the future.

I practise as a Holistic Therapist, which means considering the entire body, as pain or problems in one part of the body may be due to dysfunction in another area of the body. Working holistically also means considering the close relationship between the mind and body when developing a tailored treatment plan. When treating a patient I usually use a combination of appropriate therapies, as this makes the treatment more effective. With a broad knowledge of nutritional and herbal supplements, I can also advise patients on supplements that may benefit their health.

I look forward to meeting you, and helping you to overcome any discomfort, muscle tension or health problems that you are experiencing.
